Expert Group Meeting on Climate Change Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 25-28 October, 2010
INWRDAM is planning to conduct an Expert Group Meeting on: "Climate change and possible impacts on water resources in OIC member countries" during 25-28 October, 2010, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Meeting). This Meeting is organized in cooperation with the Department of Irrigation and Drainage, Malaysia and is funded mainly by the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Seventh Governing Body Meeting Under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Adel Tweissi, President of INWRDAM and Secretary General of the Higher Council for Science and Technology, Amman, Jordan, INWRDAM held its Seventh Governing Body Meeting (GBM) in Amman, Jordan during April 27th – 28th, 2010. The Focal points of INWRDAM from Bahrain, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and COMSTECH attended the GBM.
IWRA Dr. Murad Jabay Bino, the Executive Director of INWRDAM, has been recently elected as a Director in the Executive Board of the International Water Resources Association (IWRA) for the term of 2010-2012.
Announcement Based on experiences from the MENA region, the EMPOWERS Partnership is proud to launch and share with the water and development communities a set of five publications related to local water governance.
